This policy explains, in general terms, how TRIP uses cookies and similar technologies. We use them only to run the platform and remember your preferences — never for advertising or tracking.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as storage built into your browser, work in much the same way. They help a website remember who you are and the choices you make.
How TRIP uses them
- Essential — to keep you signed in, keep your account secure, and make booking and payment work. The platform cannot function without these, so they cannot be switched off.
- Preferences — to remember choices such as your language, so TRIP opens the way you left it.
- Security — to help protect accounts, for example by signing you out after a period of inactivity in certain areas.
What we do not use
TRIP does not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies, and does not track you across other websites. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Third-party pages
When you pay, you complete the payment on a secure page operated by our payment service provider, which may use its own cookies under its own policies. Pages that show a map load it from our map provider.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in, booking, or paying, and clearing them resets your preferences.
